Self-priming vacuum manipulator VMS 400
Self-priming vacuum manipulator VMS 400 is designed to manipulate with flat freight with relatively clean, even and hermetical surfaces. These can be metal sheets and plates from various material: e.g. ferrous and nonferrous metals, magnetic and non-magnetic metals, plastic, glass, stone, wood etc.
The vacuum manipulator does not need outer power supply. By pulling the lifting loop of the manipulator, we lift the piston, under which vacuum forms. As a result the ambient (atmospheric) pressure pushes the freight to the manipulator with force proportional to the weight of the freight.

A vacuometer and a pressure drop indicator are parts of the manipulator. The pressure drop indicator remembers the vacuum input quantity when lifting the freight and if the vacuum quantity drops by 20% an optical and acoustic signalling is activated. Two alkaline batteries with the life up to one year supply the pressure drop indicator.
The manipulation with freights by means of vacuum manipulator is very easy thanks to a special cam mechanism that enables continuous lifting and laying of the freight without any interference by the operating staff. The operation staff controls only the crane.

It is possible to use two vacuum manipulators for handling larger dimensional freights.

The vacuum manipulator is characterised by minimum maintenance and long life.

  Maximum load : 400 kg            weight : 43 kg

The vacuum manipulator can be hung on a hook of the lifting device, e.g. a crane, electric tackle, hand tackle, cantilever crane, etc.
